Splitboard and Ski touring camp Spano pole
This trip will take us to the cosy Spano Pole hut 2055 m, situated in the South West Pirin mountains. We will enjoy the hospitality of the hut keepers after some good turns from the surrounding peaks such as Bashliyski Chukar 2683 m, Spanopolski Chukar 2576 m, Gergiytsa 2589 m & more. During the event, we will help you improve your riding technique and mountaineering skills.
Spano Pole hut is offers basic high mountain accommodation. There is heating in the shelter. The guardians offer basic food options. Common dormitory style sleeping area. Blankets are provided, sleeping bag liner is recommended.

Difficulty level: Intermediate
Good physical condition is required. Participants must have good level of skiing or snowboarding in off piste terrain. Some experience in ski/splitboard touring is required.
ITINERARY:
- Day 0: Thursday
- Arrival and check in in Bansko.
Gear check and evening briefing. - Day 1: Friday
- Early start at 07:00 AM. We will make our way to the refuge, choosing our line so we can get as much good riding as possible. It will take us between 4-5 hours to reach Spano pole.

- Riding in the area of Spano pole.

Planning next day. - Day 3: Sunday
- According to weather, snow conditions and how the group is feeling we will choose our route back to civilization. Our priority will be to get as many good lines as possible on our way down.

Price includes:
Guiding fee with certified Splitboard / Ski guide. Guide / client ratio 1:6
Price does not include:
Accommodation*, Splitboard / Ski Touring equipment, avalanche gear – mandatory, transportation, insurance.
Necessary equipment:
- Avalanche equipment (Transceiver, shovel, probe)*
- Splitboard or touring skis + poles*
- Crampons (lightweight ones if possible)*
- Appropriate backpack (around 35+L)
- Appropriate clothing (Gore Tex jacket & pants, down jacket, fleece, thermal underwear)
- Headlamp
- Ski helmet
- Medical insurance
Important information:
- The group will be guided by certified splitboard and ski guides – Nikolay Pavlov, Pavel Peev.
- Maximum 6 participants per 1 Guide.
- Minimum number of participants: 4 Maximum participants: 12.
- Equipment rentals for two days: Splitboard and poles – 190 BGN/97 €, snowshoes and poles – 60 BGN/30 €, avalanche equipment – 80 BGN/40 €, touring ski – 190 BGN/97 €.
- In case you don’t have any of the equipment we can help you rent it out.
- We can recommend a family guesthouse in Bansko. Spano pole hut – 30 BGN per night.
- We reserve the right to make changes to itinerary, dates and location in case of bad or inappropriate weather conditions.
