Bulgaria Backcountry Splitboard and Ski Camp
This trip is suitable for intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders with some backcountry experience. If you are unsure about your level, get in touch with us.

Good physical condition is necessary. Good level of off-piste skiing or snowboarding.
ITINERARY:
- Day 1: Arrival in Sofia. Transfer to Govedartsi in Rila mountain. Overnight in family hotel at Govedartsi.
- Meet the crew. If possible we do riding and touring level check. Evening meeting and forecast check and planning the next days. Equipment check. Dinner.
- Day 2: Transfer to Maliovitsa mountain school 1640 m. Overnight in family hotel at Govedartsi.
- Touring in Maliovitsa valley.
- Day 3: Transfer to Borovets ski resort 1300 m. Overnight in family hotel at Govedartsi.
- From Borovets with gondola lift to top station – Yastrebets 2300m. Touring to Mulasa peak 2925m. Descend to Borovets 1300m. Transfer back to Govedartsi.
- Day 4: Transfer to 7 Rila lakes ski resort 1585 m. Overnight in family hotel at Bansko.
- Up with chair lift to 7 Rila lakes hut 2100 m. From there we will go for touring in the area. Transfer to Bansko winter resort. Evening meeting and forecast check and planning the next days.
- Day 5-7: Bansko Freeride and Backcountry touring day. Overnight in family hotel at Bansko.
- Transfer to starting point. Backcountry touring in the area. Evening meeting and forecast check and planning the next day.
- Day 8: Transfer to Sofia.
- Fly home.
Necessary equipment:
- Splitboard or touring skis + poles*
- Avalanche equipment (Transceiver, shovel, probe)*
- Appropriate backpack (around 30L)
- Crampons (lightweight ones if possible)*
- Appropriate clothing (Gore Tex jacket & pants, down jacket, fleece, thermal underwear)
- Gloves, 2 pairs
- Sun glasses, sunscreen
- Ski helmet

Important information:
- The trip groups will be guided by certified splitboard guides Nikolay Pavlov – Nikyata and Pavel Peev
- Maximum 6 participants per 1 guide.
- Minimum number of participants: 4 Maximum participants: 12.
- In the in case that you do not have some of the equipment, we can assist in providing it for rent or purchase.
- The organizers reserve the right to make any changes to the itinerary and location in case of bad weather or snow conditions.
